Independent group Cecil Amey Opticians has opened its 10th practice in Holt located at the Appleyard in the centre of the town.
Cecil Amey’s first practice opened in Norwich in 1924 and has remained a family business as it has grown to operate sites across Norfolk and Suffolk.
Robert Amey, CEO and optometrist at Cecil Amey Opticians, said: ‘As directors we have been determined to keep building the business to not only survive through the tough times but to grow and thrive over the long term.
‘The success of our new Aylsham practice which opened in 2019, the previous history of the Amey family in North Norfolk and the opportunity to acquire a new premises in Holt have combined to provide this perfect opportunity now. We are very excited to come to Holt and welcome new patients to the practice.’
