Italian eyewear group Safilo announces CEO will retire at the end of February
Italian eyewear group Safilo has announced its CEO Luisa Delgado will retire at the end of February.
Citing personal reasons as the cause for her retirement, Delgado will leave office on February 26 after leading the company through a period of transition.
The board has thanked the outgoing CEO for her efforts and her work in helping the company to prepare for future success.
Angelo Trocchia has been named as the new CEO of the company, but will not take over the position until April 1.
Eugenio Razelli has been granted interim powers and will act as Safilo CEO until Trocchia, previously chair and CEO of consumer goods company Unilever Italia, starts his role.
