Community Health and Eye Care has expanded beyond community ophthalmology
Community Health and Eye Care (CHEC) has expanded its offering beyond community ophthalmology with the launch of a new endoscopy service.
The eye care provider said endoscopy waiting lists were currently some of the longest in the country with patients waiting for cancer screenings, treatments and tests.
Endoscopy launched at CHEC in Nottingham on April 14 and it worked with Nottingham University Hospital to deliver the service.
Jon Dore, chief operating officer at CHEC, said: ‘We also plan to expand our endoscopy services across the country, so we can further support the NHS on tackling the backlog of patients who require these critical services.’
