Opening in March, it aims to increase accessibility to local NHS healthcare

Community Health and Eyecare (CHEC) announced a new clinic will open in Worcester in March to increase accessibility to local NHS healthcare services.

The clinic will provide both ophthalmology and diagnostic endoscopy services, the highest impacted areas affected by the COVID pandemic, and is part of a series of planned launches for 2023.

CHEC chief operating officer Jon Dore said: ‘It is exciting to be able to announce our plans for 2023. The opening of our new centre in Worcester will further expand our high-quality services across England and help make healthcare more accessible for local residents. It demonstrates CHEC’s continued commitment to supporting the NHS in reducing waiting lists across the country.’

In 2022, the private eye care provider also launched five clinics across England, as well as its community services in Dorset.
