Optician stated fines levied against Boots Opticians by GOC were kept by regulator
In last week’s In Focus (15.03.17), Optician stated fines levied against Boots Opticians by the General Optical Council were kept by the regulator. This was incorrect. Fines issued by the GOC are paid into a government fund. Optician apologises for any confusion caused.
