Staff at Specsavers Edinburgh have embarked on a drive to raised funds for the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) by selling mini-knitted Christmas stockings knitted and donated to the store by patient Christine Barclay.

Adam Gordon, store director at Specsavers Corstorphine, said: ‘We’re proud to support RNIB and hope our customers pop in to pick up one of the festive decorations. They are perfect Christmas gifts.’ Angela Preston, area fundraising manager (East Scotland) for RNIB, added: ‘We simply couldn’t provide the care and support we do if it wasn’t for the help and support of our local community and we’re so grateful to the Specsavers team for their continued support.’
