Optical Express received an ‘outstanding’ rating for its Corporation Street practice in Birmingham after a visit by the Care and Quality Commission (CQC).

Inspectors commented that staff treated patients with compassion and kindness, respected their privacy and dignity, and took account of their individual needs.

Stephen Hannan, clinical services director at Optical Express, said: ‘I’m very proud of the whole team in Birmingham and the dedication they have shown in delivering quality clinical care for the local community.

‘We pride ourselves on the high-quality care we offer and have the ability to treat cataract patients in a matter of weeks from their initial consultation appointment, allowing them to get back to living their lives more freely once again.’
