Discarded lens material at Design Week

Cult Vision has partnered with designer Yair Neuman

Cult Vision has partnered with designer Yair Neuman to create eyewear and lights made from a material developed by Neuman using discarded lenses.

Frames made from Delerex will be thick and polished to a high sheen to showcase the qualities of the recycled material.

The partnership has been formed as part of Cult Vision’s activities during Clerkenwell Design Week, which will be the third time the practice has taken part in the fringe festival.

In previous years of the festival, Cult Vision designed a retro claw grabber for an interactive window display, featured lens cloths in collaboration with textile designer Amelia Graham, and leather eyewear cases by Manu Torres Eyewear.
