The Body Doctor announces the release of its new NuLids tool

Medical devices company The Body Doctor has announced the release of its new tool for managing dry eye disease. Based on research suggesting that the majority of patients suffer from an evaporative form of dry eye, the NuLids tool is designed to gently massage the eye and stimulate gland expression.

Already having been utilised in the Aston Dry Eye clinic, the NuLids features an oscillating tip coated in eye cleaning and demodex removing gel which is used to massage the eye through a closed eyelid. Resembling an electric toothbrush, the tool is used for 30 seconds per eye and provides simple, immediate relief of symptoms which increases patient compliance. Comfort while using the device is assured through an automatically regulated system that limits the strength of the massage.
