Dunelm Optical CEO died this week
Industry stalwart Peter Beaumont, of Dunelm Optical, died this week prompting praise from colleagues.
Dunelm said in a statement on Twitter: ‘It is with great sadness to announce the sudden, terrible and sad loss of our company founder and CEO Peter Beaumont. A truly wonderful man who was adored and respected by so many. I’m sure you share our sadness at our joint loss at this time.’
David Baker, managing director of Dunelm Optical, added: ‘A sudden, sad and great loss of a colleague, business partner and a great friend all in one. I consider myself privileged and very lucky to have known and been close to such a wonderful man.’
