Edmonds & Slatter returns to domiciliary care

Leicestershire-based Edmonds & Slatter Opticians has re-launched a home eye testing service to patients who are unable to visit them in practice.

Employees will travel to all patients located within a reasonable distance from the company’s three practices in Blaby, Glenfield and Lutterworth.

Dispensing optician Michelle Stubley said: ‘We have always offered the Home Eyecare Service but have recently started making people more aware of the service for any immobile relatives.

‘We understand how difficult it is for anyone who is housebound and for their family members to organise eye care visits so we aim to make the process as easy as possible.’

The Home Eyecare Service is open to both NHS and private patients.
