EnChroma names new COO

EnChroma has appointed Mark Mattison-Shupnick as its chief operating officer.

California-based vision technology company EnChroma has appointed Mark Mattison-Shupnick as its chief operating officer.

EnChroma is the creator of the EnChroma Cx Series Eyewear for colour blindness and researches products in the hope of solving problems in vision care.

Mattison-Shupnick, pictured right, is a master optician and brings five decades of experience to his new role, which he steps up to from his previous position as vice president of business development for the company.

He commented: ‘It is incredibly exciting to be a part of defining the future standard of care for vision impairments that cannot be treated with ordinary spectacle lenses.

‘In a time of unprecedented flux caused by Covid-19 and societal change, I look forward to working closely with all of our employees to advance EnChroma’s ideals and mission.’
