Frame stylist of the year entry tips

For the first time Transitions has started the search for a frame stylist who understands the art of mixing the colour of frames and lenses to enhance the patient’s look.

Judges in the Frame Stylist of the Year, sponsored by Transitions, are inviting entries based on photographs of successful dispenses. Entrants should supply images of up to three dispensings which show the frame on face and the lenses in their clear, activated and mid-activated states. For clients who do not wish to be photographed still life images are acceptable. Styling images modelled by the entrant or other practice staff are also acceptable. The primary judging will be through images but entrants also have the opportunity to describe the idea behind each dispense in no more than 200 words.
