Jay Ghadiali appointed Director of Professional Services at Vision Express

Former joint venture partner becomes head of professional services at Vision Express

Former joint venture partner becomes head of professional services at Vision Express leading clinical role at optical supergroup.

Ghadiali graduated from Aston University and joined Vision Express in Loughborough in 2002 as a joint venture partner. As well as being a clinical leader Ghadiali has a 15-year career at Vision Express which has been spent building up his clinical knowledge and expertise in optical retail.

Ghadiali will lead Vision Express’s professional services division and focusing on the multiple’s Vision.Taken Seriously project.

Chief executive officer Jonathan Lawson said the professional teams are an integral part of the customer journey at the group and their engagement and leadership is critical.

‘Jay will play a fundamental part in that leadership and the future direction of professional services within Vision Express,’ he said.

'This is a new and very exciting role as the sector faces numerous changes, and we are really looking forward to the contribution Jay and his team will bring to the organisation.’

Ghadiali said he was excited to be taking on the role. ’It’s exciting to be given the opportunity to take our business to the next level, through a distinct and compelling proposition that puts eye health at the centre of everything we do. There is much work to be done to promote eye care and eye health, and to encourage people of all ages to take their vision seriously. I am really looking forward to working with our talented team to bring that message to life.’
