Girls’ football club scores with help of local practice

Southbroom girls football club has helped Haine & Smith celebrate the success of its community projects by reaching the finals of the county championships at the very first attempt.

The Devizes school team, which was recently sponsored by Haine & Smith with new kit, won through to the Wiltshire finals and is just one of several local initiatives the optical group has supported over the years.

The Haine & Smith Charitable Trust has a strong ethos of giving back to the community and it aims to help around 20 projects a year. Donations from the Haine & Smith partners alone have totalled over £140,000. Wiltshire schools, sports, community and disabled charities have all been supported over the years.
