GOC erases Fawad Ahmed

The regulator found Ahmed’s fitness to train impaired

A GOC Fitness to Practise Committee has erased Manchester-based student DO, Fawad Ahmed, from its register.

The regulator found Ahmed’s fitness to train impaired by reason of convictions and misconduct. This was in relation to his convictions of conspiring to defraud, driving above the specified controlled drug limit, driving while disqualified and using a vehicle while uninsured. Ahmed also failed to declare these convictions to the GOC.

In his hearing Ahmed admitted the facts of the allegations against him, causing the GOC to find the facts proved. The committee determined the sanction of erasure sufficient to protect the public interest.
