GOC registrants reminded to renew

Registrants of the General Optical Council (GOC) have been told to renew their registration online by Wednesday 15 March.

Renewals will cost £330, with registrants charged an additional £20 if they fail to reapply by the final deadline of Friday 31 March.

Practitioners with a total gross income of less than £12,000 per year are eligible for the GOC’s low income fee of £230 which should be applied for by 1 February, otherwise the full fee will be taken and practitioners will have to wait for a refund.

Registrants can apply online by logging in to their MyGOC account at www.optical.org.
