Grafton Optical has bolstered its range of dry eye and lid margin treatments with the UK launch of the I-Lid’n Lash products from I-Med Pharma.
I-Lid’n Lash was developed in Canada as a daily cleansing gel for patients with dry eye and was later joined by I-Lid’n Lash Pro and I-Lid’n Lash Plus for more serious lid margin conditions such as demodex.
Containing hyaluronic acid, I-Lid’n Lash offers a gentle and soothing way to clean eyelids and lashes. Daily usage will help remove ocular debris, reduce extra-ocular inflammation and enhance the effectiveness of artificial tears. The product can also be used for makeup removal by patients with sensitive skin. I-Lid’n Lash is available as pre-soaked wipes or in a metered 50ml pump.
I-Lid’n Lash Pro and I-Lid’n Lash Plus, which are both formulated with natural tea tree oil (TTO), form a two-step antiseptic, cleansing and hydrating process. Pro, which contains 20% TTO, is applied in practice and Plus (5% TTO) is used for daily follow up applications. Plus may also be used as part of a daily hygiene regimen for patients requiring deeper cleansing.
