Virtual reality simulator manufacturer VRmagic has rebranded as Haag-Streit Simulation following the Haag-Streit Group’s acquisition of the brand in 2020.

Haag-Streit explained that with the creation of Haag-Streit Simulation it would expand its portfolio for medical education and training in ophthalmology. Haag-Streit’s Eyesi Slit Lamp, a diagnostic training product that uses virtual reality, would benefit from the move, said the company.

CEO of VRmagic Markus Schill explained: ‘Cooperations with the Haag-Streit Group network will allow us to offer more efficient customer service on the ground. Haag-Streit subsidiaries in the UK and USA have already begun to implement operational efficiencies.’
