The retreat hosted a number of guest speakers, an awards evening and entertainment for delegates, with practice team members able to take advantage of a virtual product exhibition with suppliers between webinars.
Imran Hakim, the group’s CEO, said: ‘It’s not an ideal situation to host it virtually, but the alternative of doing nothing, when most people needed a lift to their spirit, was simply not an option.’
Hakim added that the webinars and other content from the retreat will soon be made available online to the wider optical industry.
