Heidelberg Engineering Academy to offer over 50 hours of CET in 2017
Heidelberg Engineering Academy will offer over 50 hours of CET nationwide in 2017.
Training events in OCT and fundus imaging will be offered in 10 cities, including free-to-attend OCT LIVE courses, where patients are scanned onto a large screen to illustrate the types of cases optometrists may expect in practice.
Director of clinical services Christopher Mody said: ‘The courses are designed to provide optometrists with the confidence to make clinical decisions and refer appropriately. The programme is also inclusive of dispensing opticians, who are seeing their roles evolve with the addition of OCT imaging in practice.’
