Ian Jordan guilty of sexual assault

Erased dispensing optician Ian Jordan has been found guilty of assaulting two women and has been bailed pending sentencing in October.

Glasgow Sheriff Court heard that Jordan attacked a victim at a house in Jordanhill after he claimed he could help her with a medical condition. He also molested a patient at his practice in Ayr.

The 63-year-old denied the crimes but was convicted of charges of sexual and indecent assault and placed on the sex offenders list.

Jordan was erased by the GOC in 2018 after he claimed to be able to treat people with autism and brain injuries using tinted lenses.
