Fight for Sight has launched a learning tool for parents and children that takes participants on a ‘Journey to the centre of the eye.’
The 10km interactive event shrinks users to the size of a photon to learn how an image is processed by the eye via audio description while walking or running.
Shrine Krause, chief executive at Fight for Sight, said: ‘This is a challenging time for everyone but this virtual event is a fantastic interactive way for children and parents to learn more about the eye, get some exercise and keep the family entertained, all while safely adhering to social distancing guidelines.’
