Jack Allen acquires CL designs

Jack Allen Contact Lenses (JACL) has purchased a set of contact lens designs for keratoconus and irregular corneas.

JACL has previously enjoyed exclusive manufacturing rights to these Profile designs and has now formally brought the entire family of lenses into its product portfolio. Contact lenses in the Profile range are based on designs by optometrist Ken Pullum.

Bill Wilson, managing partner at JACL, explained the inception of the Profile lenses: ‘Ken approached us with the idea of a new system for fitting corneal lenses for keratoconus. After numerous trials and design iterations, the first range of Profile N & R lenses were produced.
