Midlands-based Kelcher Optometrists is getting involved with its community by supporting local youth team, Wyrley Juniors Football, and sponsoring the ladies first team.
Optometrist and director Michaela Kelcher recently visited Wyrley’s clubhouse to talk about eyecare to players from the youth and adult squads. Staff from the practice went along armed with cloths, sprays and some balloons to stress the importance of eye examinations to help players achieve their goals in the classroom, workplace and out on the field.
As part of the fun Wyrley Ladies First Team, took time out from training to model the latest range of frames from the practice. Kelcher said sponsorship of the ladies first team is in its third year and this year the practice provided players with brand new kit. ‘Ladies football is quite up and coming so it’s a great thing to be involved with,’ she added.
