Kering has announced a new partnership with Montblanc to develop, produce and distribute sunglasses and optical frames across the world.
This decision has come after Montblanc decided not to renew its 17-year partnership with Marcolin, which ends in January 2019, a statement said.
Nicolas Baretzki, Montblanc’s CEO, said: ‘Montblanc is excited to enter a new relationship with Kering Eyewear, a partner known globally for manufacturing some of the finest luxury eyewear. The goal is to push boundaries of design together and think of innovative ways to develop eyewear suited to the high achievers, urban nomads and millennial adventurers that connect with Montblanc’s ethos and values.’
The Montblanc Eyewear Spring Summer 2019 collection would be revealed in September 2018 at Silmo in Paris before its international launch in January 2019.
