British eyewear brand appoints Hugh Clark
British eyewear brand Kirk & Kirk has appointed Hugh Clark of the family behind shoe brand Clarks as its new chairman as it launches a new funding scheme worth up to £1.07m with the aid of private equity firm Growthdeck.
The newly-appointed chairman, who remains a shareholder in the UK retail footwear group, said: ‘This is an ambitious fast-growing business which has the potential to be a major player in the fashion accessories market, both in the UK and overseas.’
He added: ‘I’m looking forward to helping the Kirk family and their investors realise that ambition.’
