Kirk & Kirk collaborates with London artist Ray Richardson on cleaning cloths
British eyewear brand Kirk & Kirk has collaborated with London artist Ray Richardson on a special collection of cleaning cloths as part of the ongoing Artist Partnership series.
Friends for over 20 years, Kirk & Kirk managing director Jason Kirk and Richardson said they had a shared passion for music, art and fashion and met through mutual connections in the fashion industry. In the early days of their friendship, Kirk and Richardson said they used to trade paintings for frames.
The range of cloths, titled Ye Olde English, features a long-held muse of Richardson’s – the bull terrier. He said he fell in love with the breed after watching Oliver! as a child and has his own studio companion, Brian.
