Leeds practice launches at home eye care service

Simon Falk Eyecare in Leeds has launched a domiciliary business in partnership with Opticall Yorkshire in order to provide at home eye care services to people across the county.

The service has been launched in response to vulnerable patients not being able to easily access eye care during the pandemic.

Opticall Yorkshire’s Sarah Sykes and Caroline Thacker would carry out full eye examinations and Simon Falk Eyecare’s stock of frames would be used if they were required.

Optometrist Simon Falk said: ‘For some time, I have been looking to add home eye care services to our portfolio and I am delighted to have formed a partnership with Opticall Yorkshire to provide a first-class home visit service.’
