Lenses in the public eye

Over 200 optical practices took part in the British Contact Lens Association’s (BCLA) Love Your Lenses Week (June 14-20) and reminded patients about safe practices and that it was #TimeToTry.

The awareness week focus on the importance of compliance and good contact lens hygiene and promoted a #StopTheSteam message to prevent fogging problems associated with masks and frames wear.

Indie Grewal, President of the BCLA, said: ‘The BCLA is proud to bring back Love Your Lenses week. Contact lenses can change lives for the better. We are passionate about the role they play in eye health and we know eye care professional around the country are too.
