Louis Stone: Diagnostic clarity

The anti-fogging Volk ClearPod for has been made available in the UK through a distribution deal with Louis Stone Optical.

Designed to divert airflow away from the diagnostic lens surface, the Volk ClearPod allows for uninterrupted clarity while performing retinal examinations and is available in 90D, 78D, Digital Wide Field and SuperField versions.

The ClearPod works as a clip-on attachment to a diagnostic lens, providing a barrier to the air escaping from patients’ masks via unobtrusive air shields that cover the bottom half of the lens. With examinations in mind, the product’s designers also ensured the air shield accommodated the right working distance while still providing fog-stopping properties.
