Maui Jim welcomes ambassador

Maui Jim has signed an agreement with racing icon Jan Lammers.

Lammers is one of the world’s most versatile racing drivers with experience in all top levels of motorsport, including Formula 1, Formula 2, Formula 3, rallies with cars and trucks during the famous Dakar Rally and karting. Lammers currently divides his time between his position as sporting director for the 2020 Formula 1 GP in Zandvoort and coaching his son René in his early karting career.

Maui Jim’s European marketing director Martijn van Eerde said: ‘We are very happy to add this formal collaboration framework with Jan to the existing friendship we have enjoyed over the last years. It is the first step for Maui Jim into motorsports, but also part of our plans to boost our brand presence in the Zandvoort area and the Netherlands overall. Being Dutch myself makes this extra special, and I look forward to the various activities we will deploy in the Netherlands with Jan.’
