Millmead supports education

ABDO College has welcomed the renewal of a partnership with Millmead Optical Group to provide it with updated support materials for its sponsored classrooms.

Millmead said that new manufacturing techniques and product innovations would be explained via educational wall art and imagery.

James Conway, Millmead’s CEO, said: ‘Having been involved in the optical industry for 75 years we feel it is important to support the next generation of professionals coming through, as it is vital to keep the industry moving forwards and innovating.’

ABDO College’s principal, Dr Robert Cubbidge, thanked Millmead for its donation. He added: ‘Building strong relationships between the optical industry is a vital component in maintaining and up-to-date education for our students.’
