Nearly £15m of funding has been secured by Mondottica for domestic and international expansion, along with development of its luxury eyewear division, Brando.
The funding, from Santander Corporate & Commercial, includes a growth capital loan, that Santander said was aimed at the UK’s fastest-growing, most dynamic businesses that have demonstrated high year-on-year growth in turnover, profit or employment. Up to 45 new jobs will be created within the firm and its subsidiaries in sales, distribution, systems and infrastructure.
David Hart, operations director at Mondottica said: ‘The funding from Santander means we are now enabled to deliver our products and services on a global scale powered by an expanded team. Santander has provided a flexible package tailored to us, our market and one that accommodates our international needs and ambitions.’
