Mykita: Nine-layer lenses

German eyewear manufacturer Mykita has presented its new Polarized Pro nine-layer lens, available across a range of its frames.

Mykita claims that the new Polarized Pro lenses provides protection against eye strain, muscle strain and increased stress hormones by protecting against glare and surface reflections.

Produced by hand in Japan, the different lens layers’ materials convey properties, including shatter resistance, peripheral light reduction, scratch resistance and superior optical clarity.

Mykita’s, minimal frames showcase a German architectural minimalism on-face, with the new polarised lenses providing a new functional element to the sunglasses range, including Borga, Hampton and Eli.
