Optometry Giving Sight (OGS) and Vision Care for Homeless People (VCHP) have entered into three year partnership with the aim of ensuring that homeless and vulnerable people across the UK receive access to the eye care they need.

As part of the new partnership, OGS will make a contribution of up to 10 per cent from every donation received in the UK.

To mark the new agreement and to raise funds for the charities, VCHP chair and co-founder Elaine Styles will take to the roads in August with Optoms Cycling for Sight as they embark on The Tour of Yorkshire.

Styles said the new partnership would put VCHP in a great position to do more in the future.
