Dr Frank Eperjesi is to take up a new role at Aston University

Dr Frank Eperjesi will take up the role of dean of the centre for learning innovation and professional practice (CLIPP) on May 1 2017, Aston University has announced.

The university said Dr Eperjesi, currently reader in optometry and acting deputy dean at Aston Business School, had recently demonstrated his ability to take a university-wide perspective.

Professor Helen E Higson, deputy vice chancellor at the university, said the next stage of CLIPP’s work would be focusing on developing a more collaborative approach, where the dean of CLIPP developed strategies for learning and teaching at Aston in partnership with its schools.

Dr Eperjesi will establish a strategic steering group with the associate deans learning and teaching to develop new learning initiatives at the university.
