The NHS has commemorated the Exeter-based Spec-Care lab as an outstanding microbusiness supporting the healthcare service to mark the 75th NHS anniversary.
The recognition is a tribute marking 20 years of Spec-Care business and has invited the business to join the NHS’s ceremony in July 2023, said founder Rob Barrow.
Barrow commented: ‘I had a surprise call from the representatives of the Parliamentary Trust saying that my name keeps coming up in the specialist supply chain and would I like to be represented as a microbusiness for the NHS 75th anniversary? Of course, I accepted. It will be a great celebration in Westminster Cathedral, and we’re honoured to be taking part.’
