​An optical assistant has been selling hand-painted glassware

An optical assistant from Specsavers’ St Andrews practice in Scotland has been selling hand-painted glassware in order to raise money for those affected by the Australian bushfires.

Caroline Shelton runs a glass painting business in her spare time and decided to sell limited edition koala and kangaroo glassware with money from every purchase going towards the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

‘The koala and kangaroo symbols are synonymous with Australia and creating this design was a small gesture I could make to raise funds to support the work of WWF and help with the devastation in Australia,’ she said.
