Former Norville Group chairman Frank Norville has paid tribute to the group’s financial director and company secretary Ian Mitchell following his recent death from cancer.
‘Ian had held the position for 15 years, although we had known Ian for many years previous as our audit team director at PKF Bristol Accountants,’ said Norville.
‘He was one of those special breeds of accountants who found their home within the unusual world of ophthalmic production, particularly the intricacies of prescription pricing, all of which he quickly mastered. His wise council will be greatly missed.’
