Obituary: Paul Walden

Lenstec has announced the passing of Paul Walden.

Walden worked for Norville Optical Company for over 30 years before joining Lenstec Optical Group as sales and technical director in recent years.

Walden was described by Lenstec staff as a leading light in the industry and will be sadly missed by his Lenstec colleagues and friends across the entire optical profession.

Nigel Castle, managing director of Lenstec, said: 'Paul contributed greatly to our training culture and his knowledge, as well as his friendship, I will miss. The many messages we have received has been very comforting at this sad time.'
