Practice software developer Ocuco has acquired website and ecommerce system builder Opticommerce. The company will continue to be run from London and all existing staff will stay.
Leo Mac Canna, Ocuco CEO, said: ‘This is Ocuco doubling down on the UK market pre-Brexit, and on ecommerce for independents as the way of the future. The Opticommerce model is the most successful model we have seen anywhere, in terms of providing the online presence independents desperately need to remain competitive in an increasingly online world, and the digital marketing services to market it.’
Ocuco said it hoped to export the Opticommerce model globally.
