More than quarter of drivers have not had an eye exam since passing driving test
More than a quarter of drivers have not had an eye exam since passing their driving test, according to a new health initiative launched by Vision Express at the Commercial Vehicle Show (CVS).
VE was offering free eye tests from its Vision Van to all show attendees at the NEC in Birmingham.
It also revealed that 81% of people were overdue an eye test, 17% had never had one at all, and that 62% required a new prescription.
The multiple’s Vision Van has been journeying across the country to raise awareness about the importance of attending regular eye tests.
