Ophthalmic services provider Optegra has created a forum for employees to celebrate inclusivity and diversity by developing a culture of understanding.
Since its launch three months ago, members from all seven of its UK hospitals and business support functions have joined the BeYou@Optegra forum.
A company-wide panel event was held to mark Pride month in June, which saw employees share what Pride meant to them and their experiences in the workplace.
Dr Peter Byloos, CEO of Optegra, said: ‘The individual people make any company, and Be You has shown that the team here at Optegra are diverse, inspiring, supportive and open – and there is such a great camaraderie, which is wonderful to see at the Be You events.’
