​Optegra Eye Health Care appoints Seema Verma as chief medical officer

Optegra Eye Health Care has announced the appointment of ophthalmic surgeon Seema Verma as its new chief medical officer.

Verma has experience at a range of London teaching hospitals including the last 19 years at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

She said: ‘I am excited to embark on a new challenge with Optegra to develop new pathways offering high quality ophthalmic services to our patients.’

Rory Passmore, UK managing director of Optegra Eye Health Care, added: ‘We are delighted that Seema is joining our team. Her rich and specialist career to date means she brings with her not only excellent medical expertise but also, from a management and patient care perspective, great knowledge on improving patient experience and designing seamless pathways to ensure excellent patient care.
