Organisers of Opti have outlined what to expect from the trade show when it returns to Munich, Germany from January 14-16, 2022.
Exhibitor registration for the event has opened and Opti has highlighted why trade shows are more important than ever, adding that it could be a business booster.
Bettina Reiter, exhibition director of Opti, said: ‘We are planning a live event that will be augmented by digital offerings, both in the run-up to and during and after the trade show that will provide the intensive interaction that the industry urgently needs.’
She added that while new offerings would be available at next year, Opti would feel familiar and that concepts from 2021 that were never used had been prepared for 2022.
Managing director of event organiser GHM, Klaus Paschka, said: ‘Our core business is to bring people together and this will continue to be a key focus for our future activities. However, we no longer singularly see ourselves as a provider of stand space that allows exhibitors to put on a presentation but as the conductor of a multifaceted orchestra.’
Should the in-person event have to be cancelled again because of Covid-19, organisers noted that a plan was in place for a different format.
