Optician editor plans revolution

A nine-strong CooperVision inspired squad of optical cyclists is aiming to raise £10,000 for Optometry Giving Sight by taking part in this month’s London Revolution cycling event.

The team will ride a 185-mile sweeping circle around the capital taking in some significant hills in Kent, Surrey and the Chilterns. The route also takes the team past some of London’s iconic landmarks on their way out into the country.

Optician editor Chris Bennett has already received generous donations from AEL Markhams, Eyespace, Hoya, Ocuco, Scope Ophthalmics and Vision Express but the team is still looking for support. To make a donation, find out about OGS’s work or see who the riders are go to www.cycleforsight.co.uk.
