A new digital marketing organisation called Opticians Network is claiming to be able to drive footfall into practices by using Google pay per view advertising system along with free eye examinations and offers such as two for one deals.
Practices will be offered exclusivity in their geographical area and about 30 new customers a month. Six areas have shown an interest in the system. A full report will be published in Optician later this month.
