Optometrists fundraise for mountain rescue team

Optometrists plan parachute jump to raise money for Mountain Rescue Team

Adventure seeking optometrists will be participating in a parachute jump to raise money for their local Mountain Rescue Team (MRT).

Ahead of the charity jump on March 1, 2020 at Strathallan Airfield in Auchterarder, Scotland, Ron and Sue Howie have placed three MRT collection tins in Sue’s employers Goskirk Pettinger Optometrists’ practices in Dingwall, Inverness and Golspie, as well as setting up a JustGiving donation page.

Sue said: ‘We have chosen to raise funds for the Dundonnell MRT whose 35 volunteer members cover an area that includes our local patch but also the vast area that includes many of the mountains we enjoy.’
