Optometry Scotland offers free membership to students

Optometry Scotland has offered to provide free membership to students to encourage them to learn more about optical industry developments.

Samantha Watson, chair of Optometry Scotland, said: ‘We want to make sure students in Scotland are aware they can take advantage of free membership to find out more about the vital work we carry out maintaining and promoting Scotland’s world class eyecare service. We need to engage with these bright young minds at the earliest possible stage and encourage them to learn more about the industry, its developments, challenges and successes. They are the sector’s future leaders.’

The organisation has organised additional perks for members this year, including ATG tickets, Knockhill, Bar Soba and Bannatyne Fitness.
